The Parish Office will close at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, November 25 for the Thanksgiving holiday and will reopen on Monday morning, November 30. Have a happy and blessed Thanksgiving!

Our parish will now deliver casseroles to Our Daily Bread every other month only, until further notice. We will NOT deliver casseroles in November; our next casserole collection dates will be in December.

The Knott Foundation has approved our request for a grant to assist in handicap accessibility for the church and school! This includes a smooth walking area to the churches and more.

The new raised crosswalk and traffic calming is now installed on Sacred Heart Lane. Please use caution in walking across the walkway and accessing it by car and take extra note of the No Parking zones.

Casseroles are collected and delivered to Our Daily Bread on the 4th Tue/Wed of each month. Volunteers will collect your casseroles and/or dry goods donations at the rear kitchen entrance on Tuesday evening, October 27 from 7-9PM and Wednesday morning, October 28 from 7:30-9AM.

We will soon see a raised crosswalk which assists those with disabilities and which also will act as traffic calming near the churches.

No Parking Zones have been painted on the curbs on the school side. For the safety and security of our people, our buildings, and concern for disabled parishioners, please honor them.  Think of your fellow parishioners, and please be considerate.

Former Sacred Heart parishioner Fr. Robert J. Wagner was installed as the pastor of St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Clifton, VA by Bishop Burbidge of the Arlington diocese on July 12.

Effective September 1, Fr. Canisius Tah has been appointed Associate Pastor in Residence at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Pikesville, and the future Fr. Brendan Fitzgerald has been appointed Associate Pastor for Sacred Heart Parish. Seminarian Cornelius Ugwu has begun his pastoral year at Sacred Heart.
