Equipping the Family and Safeguarding Children

The family home should be a safe haven, but inappropriate use of technology deprives the home of this role, and it is a great threat to the sanctity of marriages and families today. Pornography and other online threats are often only a click away, and parents can feel overwhelmed with not knowing how to best protect their children in our fast-paced digital world.

The Archdiocese of Baltimore is taking a bold step to help families by celebrating "Safe Haven Sunday" this weekend ( March 13-14). This awareness day is intended to help families educate their children on the dangers of pornography and to give people the tools they need to begin to free themselves from addiction to porn.
