Sister Rosa Amalia Torres Armendariz, originally from La Piedad, Michoacán in Mexico, has belonged to the Congregation of Missionaries of Our Lady of Perpetual Help for 32 years. She has lived in Mexico, Macau, China, and for the last 8 years in the Diocese of Springfield, MA. She has a degree in Pastoral Theology at the University Center of Spirituality of Human Values, with diplomas in Primary Education and Labor Human Rights in Mexico. She has also studied for three years in Leadership Pastoral Training at the Hispanic Institute of Santa Clara University in San Jose, CA.
For hobbies, she loves walking, enjoying nature, listening to music of different kinds, reading, and dancing.
