Easter is a special season of celebration with family, and our Parish is a "Family of Families"
(Archbishop Lori). We have an opportunity and need to celebrate this Easter, albeit differently. We are finding a way to share the Joy of Easter with those in our community who are in need amid this pandemic.
With your generous support, Sacred Heart will be providing an
Easter Gift Basket with food provisions and Easter treats to families in need. Here is how you can help (in order of need):
Purchase Grocery Gift Cards from local stores for perishable items and drop them off at the Parish Office (in an envelope marked "Easter Gift Basket").
Provide a monetary donation to support the purchase of Grocery Gift Cards. Checks should be made out to Sacred Heart Glyndon with "Easter Gift Basket" in the memo line and sent to the Parish Office.
Bring non-perishable food items(what is your favorite Easter meal staple?) to church on weekends during Lent and place in the "Easter Gift Basket" box.
Donate any kind of Easter basket, roughly 18 - 20" in diameter (or similar).
Donate Easter treats for children including new Easter-themed books, puzzles, coloring books, or individually wrapped candy. (No stuffed animals, please!)
We are collecting these items through the weekend of
March 21. If your family or a family you know would benefit from an Easter Gift Basket, please contact
[email protected]. For more information on how to help, you can also contact Vicki at
[email protected] or 410-292-5738.
Thank you for your support!
