This is Maurice Sunde Afor's last weekend with us officially in his Pastoral Year at Sacred Heart and St. Charles.  It has been quite a year.  First, he moved with me from St. Mark, Fallston to Sacred Heart and St. Charles — and then, when he was finally getting fully immersed and getting to know people, the pandemic hit.  Maurice has been a wonderful addition to our staff and our pastoral care team.  He will be returning to St. Mary's Seminary and University, Baltimore to complete his Third Year of Theology and, God-willing, be ordained to the transitional diaconate next May.  Please join me in thanking Maurice for his warmth, his love of God, and the care he has shown to our parish communities.  He will, of course, always be welcome to visit us.   - Fr.
