The new raised crosswalk and traffic calming is now installed on Sacred Heart Lane. Please use caution in walking across the walkway and accessing it by car. Please take extra note of the No Parking zones. We will be alerting people to these zones in the next few weeks. They are there to protect the people in the crosswalk by giving clear vision of the walkway from the road. The Baltimore County Police will be enforcing the No Parking zones in the near future.

Please be mindful that when the white stripping on this new crosswalk gets wet, it can be extremely slippery. Our maintenance team has been applying sand on the stripping to minimize the slippery conditions.
