There are so many people I thank in my prayers
for things I appreciate so,
but try as I may, I sometimes cannot say
the words that I want them to know.

As the former Directress of Religious Education and recent volunteer in the school, it is with heartfelt gratitude that I want you, the parishioners of Sacred Heart, to know that I will always treasure my sixteen years’ experience here with you and your children.

My Community, the Sisters of Saint Joseph, has recently missioned me to the Annunciation Parish in McSherrystown, PA. There I will have available time to minister to my almost ninety-year-old brother.

For me, this new assignment is bittersweet. I very much mind leaving Sacred Heart, but I’m happy to have the time to be truly present to my brother. Please know that I value and am grateful for all the many kindnesses you have shown me. I pray that God will always bless you!
