The Life in the Spirit Charismatic Prayer Group will offer a Mass for Healing in Our Nation on Wednesday, October 14 at 7:30 PM. This will be a call to prayer for national healing in these times of division and pandemic, as well as a time for personal healing prayer.

For the safety of all children and their families, we are sad to announce that the annual Trunk-or-Treat and Halloween Dance events have been cancelled for 2020.

The monthly baptism preparation class will be held on Monday, October 12 at 7:00 PM in Room 104. This one-time class with Fr. Brendan is for parents who are having their first child baptized at Sacred Heart or whose last child was baptized here more than four years ago.

As we begin celebrating Respect Life month in October, all parishioners are invited to participate in our spiritual adoption program. You can sign up after all Masses on October 3/4 or sign up online. Click for details!

Beginning September 28, there will be a 7PM Mass in English on Mondays and Thursdays and a 7PM Mass in Spanish on Tuesdays. Confessions will also be available on Wednesdays from 6-8PM.

We will soon see a raised crosswalk which assists those with disabilities and which also will act as traffic calming near the churches.

Fr. Canisius will bid farewell to Sacred Heart this weekend (September 19/20) as he leaves for St. Charles Borromeo Parish. He is scheduled for the Saturday 3PM Confessions, 4PM Mass, and Sunday 9:30 AM Mass.

Casseroles are collected and delivered to Our Daily Bread on the 4th Tue/Wed of each month. Volunteers will collect your casseroles and/or dry goods donations at the rear kitchen entrance on Tuesday evening, September 22 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM and on Wednesday morning, September 23 from 7:30 - 9:00 AM.

Knights of Columbus Immaculate Lady Council has hired a commercial on-site shredding company to visit Sacred Heart on Saturday, September 26 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM. Bring your unwanted documents to the school-side parking lot to be shredded free of charge.

Do you have trouble saying no? Can you set limits and still be a loving person? A nine-session small group study, Boundaries, by Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend will begin in October. Morning (Monday) and evening (Wednesday) sessions are available.
