Food insecurity is a harsh reality for many families amid the pandemic. If you or someone you know could benefit from food assistance, our pantry at Sacred Heart is available to keep families in our community fed.

Flowers and decorations are an important part of our Easter celebration and are a wonderful way to remember our loved ones, both living and deceased. Flower memorials can be done online; envelopes are also available in the Gathering Space and Parish Office.

In the past years, Sacred Heart has come into possession of several burial plots in Rosedale, Sykesville, and Finksburg. The church is interested in putting these plots up for sale to any parishioners who may be interested in them.

The monthly baptism preparation class will be held on Monday, March 8 at 6:45 PM in Room 104. This one-time class is for parents who are having their first child baptized at Sacred Heart or whose last child was baptized here more than four years ago.

The MD Coalition for Justice and Police Accountability and the MD Alliance for Justice Reform are supporting several bills for reducing conflict with police in the community and ask our help in contacting legislators.

With Sacred Heart School closed for inclement weather, morning Mass and most parish activities are cancelled for Friday, February 19. We still plan to have Stations of the Cross at 7:00 PM. ​​​​​​​The Parish Office will open at 12:00 noon.
