Every year on Respect Life Sunday (the first Sunday in October), parishioners are invited to spiritually “adopt” and give a name to an unborn child who is at risk of abortion, thereby giving the baby the humanity he or she deserves. You can do this individually or as a family. Then you are asked to pray for the unborn child and for his or her parents each day for nine months. There is much power in prayer!
